KEVIN BARRY - ESCRITOR IRLANDÊS

Kevin Barry nasceu em Limerick, em 1969. Kevin é autor dos romances Beatlebone e City of Bohane e de duas coleções de contos. Venceu o Rooney Prize, em 2007, e o  Sunday Times EFG Short Story Prize, em 2012. Relativamente ao livro,  City of Bohane recebeu o prémio International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, o European Prize for Literature and the Authors’ Club First Novel Prize, e foi finalista para o Costa First Novel Award e o Irish Book Awards. O seu segundo romance, Beatlebone foi vencedor do Goldsmiths Prize e também finalista para o Irish Book Awards. O seu romance mais recente, Night Boat to Tangier foi publicado pela Canongate, em junho de 2019.
